You deserve a doula!

What is a Doula?

A doula is

  • an emotional, physical, informational support and advocate

  • a non-medical support person who is unbiased and non-judgmental in the care they provide

  • a person who offers families and people expert, individualized care and support through the whole spectrum of pregnancy

  • serves families from preconception, to birth, to abortion, to miscarriage and loss, to adoption, to postpartum

How much does it cost?

Doula services can range in cost anywhere from $800-$2,500 depending on the doula, their packages and experience level. Never let cost be a deterrent! Doulas services can be accessible to every family. For families seeking support in the cost of doula care ask about our community care fund.

How do I pick a doula?

Listen to your gut! Choosing a doula is often an intuitive process. You and your partner should feel connected, comfortable and at ease in the presence of the doula that’s right for your family. All doulas have a unique set of skills, personalities and services to offer.
